This gentle walk winds through native bushland rich in birdlife, offering plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting and peaceful immersion in nature. In spring the forest floor transforms into a colourful carpet of wildflowers, making it an especially rewarding experience for walkers, photographers and nature lovers alike.
The track is relatively flat, well maintained and clearly signposted, making it accessible for visitors of all ages and fitness levels. Starting from Killawarra Forest Camp, walkers can choose between two loop options to suit their time and ability.
The shorter northern loop is approximately 1.2 kilometres and takes around 30 minutes to complete, ideal for families or a quick nature break. The southern loop extends to 3.7 kilometres and takes around two hours, offering a more immersive bushwalking experience. For those wanting to explore further, the two loops can be combined into a longer circuit.
Whether you're enjoying a short stroll or a longer walk, the Springtime Flower Walk provides a peaceful escape into nature just a short distance from town.
