Peaks Challenge Falls Creek provides cyclists with one of the world's toughest and most picturesque cycling challenges in Victoria's High Country.
Attracting Victorian, interstate, and international cyclists, the 235 kilometre circuit is comparable to a Tour de France stage with three major climbs - Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.
Now in its 14th year, Peaks Challenge Falls Creek is recognised as Australia's toughest single day cycling event. The event was named in Global Cycling Network's 2013 Top 10 Best Sportives and Gran Fondos - one of only two in the list outside of Europe and joins cycling royalty like Paris-Roubaix and a climb up Alpe d'Huez.
Peaks Challenge Falls Creek provides an annual tourism boost to the High Country and was recognised as a finalist at the Victorian Tourism Awards (Adventure Tourism) in 2013.
