It is a danger to you and any first responders who may be required to assist you to access any section of this trail.

Take a thrilling downhill rail trail adventure through time from Victoria's highest historic train station.

Experience an exhilarating 570m descent from Shelley Station, once Victoria's highest train station. Pedal to Tallangatta along 43km of historic trestle bridges and untouched natural landscapes. Discover the Boggy Creek Trestle Bridge near Koetong Station, preserved in its original 1915 design, and marvel at three impressive timber bridges near Bullioh. Skip the challenging uphill return by car shuffling with friends or contacting Mt Beauty Transfers for private shuttle services. This unsealed section of the rail trail requires you to be fully self-sufficient. Wider tyres with some grip are recommended.
