Lounge of the Flamingo is the collaborative creation of Australian songwriter/producer Paris Wells and long-time musical partner Mauritian born musician/producer Finley François, the album is a lush Australiana, Latin-inspired lounge masterpiece.
Recorded live at Frying Pan Studios, housed within the iconic MONA Gallery in Tasmania, the nostalgia in this album creates a coziness beyond clouds. Drawing subtle influences from Nouvelle Vague, Astrud Gilberto, and Cesária Évora, the project highlights Wells' and Francois' versatility, refined artistry and a 20 year old working partnership.
